Four short videos, 3½ minutes in all, recorded in ASH ELDAS F3.4 on its built-in example project (a sample 11 kV / 0.4 kV facility). The captions are in the picture and there is no sound. The videos play from this site; nothing is loaded from any other service.
1. ASH ELDAS quick tour
1:11 · captions in the picture, no sound
One project file, the Project tab and seven benches: boards and feeders, protection, coordination, MV, the check register, the ASH Assistant and the report, in about a minute.
Read the captions as text
- One project file: the Project tab and seven benches
- Project · Electrical LV · MV · Lighting · ELV & ICT · Earthing & Lightning · Solar Farm · Studies
- Set the project type, code basis and local overlay once. Every tab reads them.
- Electrical LV: boards, loads, protection, schedules and the report
- Cables are sized for current, voltage drop and short-circuit withstand
- Fault levels, breaking capacity and automatic disconnection
- Trip-unit settings and time-current coordination
- MV: single-line, transformers and motors, cables, protection grading
- Each check shows demand, capacity, clause and status
- The check register gathers every tab’s findings in one list
- The ASH Assistant answers from your project’s own data
- Print the report to PDF, export Excel and CSV, or save the project file
2. ASH ELDAS: concept, detailed design and verification
0:43 · captions in the picture, no sound
How the Project stage selector in the header switches every bench between Concept design, Detailed design and Verification, and what review codes A, B and C mean.
Read the captions as text
- One project, three stages. The project stage is set in the header.
- Concept design: first-pass sizes and screening checks
- Detailed design: every quantity computed and checked against its clause
- Verification: check a design by others against an independent calculation
- Type in the submitted values from the contractor’s calculation or drawing
- The overall review code follows the worst item: A compliant, B comments, C revise
- Each resubmission is a new review cycle: Rev.00, Rev.01, and so on
3. ASH ELDAS: reading a check and its review code
0:53 · captions in the picture, no sound
Where a status, a clause and a review code come from: Design checks, the check register, the compliance statement and the verification comment rows.
Read the captions as text
- Detailed design: every check is marked Pass, Marginal or Fail
- Filter the list: Marginal and fail first, or every check
- Each check names its clause and status, with a note on what to confirm
- The Project tab gathers every tab’s findings in a check register
- Open items are listed in the deficiency register, with the clause and a comment
- The compliance statement rates each topic from the latest checks, with the clauses cited
- Verification stage: the same checks are coded A, B or C for the review
- Copy the review comments as rows for your comment-resolution sheet
4. ASH ELDAS: reports and exports
0:42 · captions in the picture, no sound
Print the report to PDF, download it as HTML, export one Excel workbook or each schedule as Excel or CSV, save the project file, and bind every tab into one report.
Read the captions as text
- Report & files: the calculation report and every file in one place
- Print the report to PDF, download it as HTML, or save the project file
- One workbook: project sheet, every schedule, checks, calculation trace, standards
- Each schedule also exports on its own, to Excel or CSV
- Diagrams export as SVG: single-line, riser and time-current curves
- The report preview shows the cover and the calculation sheets
- Project tab, Deliverables: one combined report under one cover
