Comment on a PDF

Highlight, add notes and callouts, and review all comments in one list.

In the app: Help ▸ Guided tours

1. Highlight
   Select some text on the page, then press H to highlight it. The Highlight tool here draws a coloured box over an area instead.
2. Add a sticky note
   Click the Sticky note tool (or press N), then click the page where the note should sit and type your comment.
3. Add a callout
   Click the Callout comment tool (or press C). Drag a box on the page, then type your text in it. The callout points at the spot you started from.
4. Markup with a comment
   Click the Markup + comment tool (or press M). Drag a dotted shape around the item you mean, then type your comment beside it.
5. Review all comments
   Open the Comments tab in the sidebar to see every comment in the file. Click one to go to it, or use Reply to answer it.
6. Set your author name
   Open the Edit menu and choose Author name… so your comments show who wrote them.
