Welcome to ASH PDF Studio
ASH PDF Studio is a free PDF viewer and editor for Windows. It is built for engineers and office users who review drawings, mark up reports and assemble document packages, and it will feel familiar if you have used Foxit or Acrobat.
What it costs
Nothing. ASH PDF Studio is free and open source under the MIT licence. Help ▸ About ASH PDF Studio shows the version you are running and the open-source components it uses (pdf.js and pdf-lib). The ASH logo and icon are trademarks of ASH Technical & Project Management Services and are not covered by the MIT licence.
Works offline
Your documents are opened, edited and saved on your own computer. No account is needed and files are not uploaded anywhere.
First start
When no document is open you see the start screen: ASH PDF Studio is ready. Open a PDF or drop files here. Click Open PDF…, or drag one or more PDF files onto the window. See Opening files and working with tabs.
Light and dark theme
The app starts in the light theme. Click the moon button at the right of the toolbar, or choose View ▸ Toggle light / dark theme, to switch. Your choice is remembered. In the app: Help ▸ Show me
